Capgemini is one among the world’s largest management consulting, outsourcing and professional services companies. The company is basically a French global IT services company. The company was established in 1956 and is headquartered in Paris. The company offers services in mainly four disciplines: Consulting, Technology, Outsourcing and Local Professional Services. Local Professional Services is carried out by a wholly subsidiary of the country, Sogeti.

Capgemini is like a dream company for freshers. Placement process in the company is mainly through campus interview for the B.Tech students. The entire placement process consists of three sections- aptitude test, group discussion and interview. A candidate who clears all the three sections will be placed in the company. Candidate has to face two rounds of interview, technical and HR.

Capgemini placement test

The placement test comprises of two parts, technical part and non technical part. Non technical will include questions from Reasoning and Mental Ability, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude and Vocabulary sections. The duration of the entire test is 120 minutes. No marks will be reduced for incorrect answers.

Capgemini Group Discussion

Second round of the interview process is group discussion (GD).  The candidates who clear the aptitude test can appear for group discussion. In this round the candidates are asked to discuss on a particular topic. The topic for group discussion will be provided at that time only. This round is to test the communication and presentation skills of candidates.

Capgemini placement interview

Candidates who clear the group discussion are directed to the final stage of placement process. The final stage is interview.  This round basically tests the knowledge of the candidate in the specific area. It also tests the capability of the candidate. Candidates who clear the interview process are selected for the job.

Capgemini placement test preparation tips

Samples questions for the aptitude test can be downloaded from the internet. Candidates should start their preparations at an early stage itself. Candidates should try to solve maximum questions in minimum time. They can even refer aptitude training books like R.S.Agarwal’s Quantitative Book while preparing for the aptitude test. They can also refer many other reasoning books also. They must regularly read newspapers and magazines in order to perform well in General Knowledge section and Vocabulary section. Candidates should visit the official website of the company before appearing for the test. This will help them to perform well in the interview process.
