Company profile: It was established in the year 1963. Today it is a reputed organization and it works in the areas like production, processing and marketing of agricultural seeds. Its products include cereals, oilseeds, fodder, pulses etc. It main aim is to increase the production and quality of seeds.
Job profile: The computer assistants will be required to operate and maintain various computer systems, develop software and run and maintain different computer applications and database systems.
Eligibility: For computer assistant grade I – a candidate must not exceed the age of 30 years and 28 years for computer assistant grade II. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: For computer assistant grade I – A candidate must have a B.Sc or M.Sc (Computer Science)/MCA/BCA/Graduate with PGDCA with a minimum of 1 year experience for Master’s degree holder and 2 years for Bachelor’s degree holder in software preparation in Java and RDBMS. For computer assistant grade II – A candidate must have B.Sc/BCA/Graduate with PGDCA with a minimum of 1 year experience.
No. of posts: There are 10 posts in total which include 2 posts (UR) for computer assistant in grade I and 8 posts (5-UR, 1-SC and 2-OBC) for computer assistant in grade II.
Pay scale: The computer assistants in grade I will be given a pay scale of Rs9000-27000 and the computer assistants will be given a pay scale of Rs8700-24500.
Selection process: The candidates will be required to appear for a written test/interview or both as decided by the company.
How to apply: The candidates have to apply as per the format available on the website. The candidates are required to send a DD of Rs50 in the favor of National Seeds Corporation Limited payable at Delhi All the applications must reach the General Manager (Admin), NSCL, Beej Bhavan, Pusa Complex, New Delhi
The last date for the receipt of applications is 21st September 2009.
