The Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (AJCE) offers admission to B.Tech courses in subjects like Civil Engineering, Information Technology, and Metallurgy. M.Tech in Machine Design, M.Tech in Power Electronics & Power Systems, MCA, etc is some of the PG level courses offered at the institute. Admission to B.Tech degree is done on the basis of engineering entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Government of Kerala and that for M.Tech on the basis of GATE score.

Admission Process for B.Tech Courses at AJCE
Indian citizens having completed 17 years of age can apply for B.Tech degree. The HSC course must be completed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Such candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in mathematics separately. Candidates having obtained an aggregate of 60% marks in Physics and Chemistry and 45% marks in mathematics are also eligible for admission. Admissions are done on the basis of engineering entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Government of Kerala.
Admission Process for PG Courses at AJCE
Graduation in engineering, obtained from any of the institutions approved by AICTE or Deemed University is the qualification required for M.Tech. Engineering degree should be obtained in the concerned subject with a minimum of 60% marks. Mere pass in engineering degree is enough for SC/ST candidates to apply. Score obtained by the candidate in national level entrance test like GATE is usually considered for admission. Candidates having completed AMIE / AMIETE are also eligible, provided they must satisfy certain conditions.
- They must have valid GATE score
- Pass in section B in AMIE/AMIETE examination with a minimum of 55% marks
- Minimum three years of work experience in the concerned field of specialization.
Final semester students satisfying the qualification requirements are also eligible to apply. Graduates having studied mathematics as a subject either at 12th /graduation are eligible for MCA degree. BCA holders are also eligible. The required qualifying degree must be obtained with a minimum of 50% marks. Admissions are done on the basis of MCA entrance test conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala.
