Admission Process in Shivalik College of Engineering

HSC passed candidates who have studied the subjects of Physics and Mathematics, as part of the course curriculum can apply for B.Tech degree. Such candidates should have studied any of the following as optional subjects.

  • Biotechnology
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science

Pass in 10 + 2 must be obtained with a minimum of 45% marks. Reserved category candidates needs to have a minimum of 40% marks only. Marks obtained in AIEEE forms the basis for admission. Candidates who qualified in AIEEE must attend the state level counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. During the counseling process, candidates should submit certain important documents.

Lateral entry admission to B.Tech is available for diploma passed candidates. Such candidates can join to second year of engineering degree. B.Sc graduates who have studied mathematics as a subject are also eligible to apply. Degree/Diploma qualification must be obtained with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

Admission to diploma is applicable for 10th or 12th passed candidates. Matriculation must be completed from a recognized board or equivalent. It must be completed with Science and Mathematics as subjects and with a minimum of 40% marks. HSC passed candidates can join to 2nd year of diploma course. Admissions, in both cases, are done on the basis of marks obtained in HSC. During admission process, candidates must submit the originals of the following documents.

  • Birth Certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • Matriculation Certificates
  • Three passport size photographs
  • Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate

Admissions for eligible candidates will be granted after evaluating the required documents.
