Institute of Industrial And Computer Management And Research offers post graduation programmes in Computer application and Business Administration. All courses are affiliated to University of Pune and approved by AICTE. Admission to the courses is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the institute.

Eligibility

Master of Computer Application (MCA) - Candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline from any recognized university with a minimum of 45 % of aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Candidates should have studied Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Mathematics & Statistics paper in their matriculation/ higher secondary or in graduation. This is not applicable to candidates who have completed graduation in Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Science (Computer/ Information Technology).

Candidates belonging to reserved category require 40 % of aggregate marks in graduation to apply for the course. Duration of the course is three academic years. Candidates are required to qualify all the selection criteria prescribed by the institution at the time of admission. Final year candidates can also apply only if they can satisfy the terms and condition as prescribed by the institute.

Master of Business Administration - Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 45 % marks from any recognized university is the basic educational qualification required for this course. Candidates belong to SC, ST, DT, NT, OBC, SBC and who have domicile of Maharashtra state require 40 % marks so as to be eligible. Course duration is 2 years. Candidates who are awaiting their final exam results can also apply for the programme.

Admission process

Master of Computer Application (MCA) - Admission to the course will be based on the composite scores obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Examination- MHCET (MCA)/CET. This exam is conducted by the Management Association of MCA Institutes (MAMI). Candidates are required to obtain the application cum prospectus form from the respective exam centre and submit the fully filled application in the same centre. Candidates who are shortlisted will be intimated for the admission process.

Master of Business Administration - Admission to this programme is based on the scores obtained in the Entrance Examination - MHCET (MBA) / CET by   Association of Management of MBA/MMS Institutes (AMMI). Successful candidates in this screening test will be shortlisted for a personal interview and group discussion. There is no age limit for admission to the course. Final selection will be based on the composite score obtained in the entrance test, group discussion and personal interview.
