The University of Delhi offers the course of M. Sc in the Operational Research subject. The course has a maximum of two years, and each year has a maximum of ten papers. The second year has a maximum of five papers. The names of each of the paper are:

First Year, 02nd Semester:

•    Course 201: Mathematical Programming-II
•    Course 202: Scheduling Techniques
•    Course 203: Marketing Management
•    Course 204: Reliability & Maintenance Theory
•    Course 205: Java Programming: Practical and Theory

Each of the paper carries one hundred marks. There are two parts of each of the paper, and they are Theory part and the Internal Assessments. The Theory part has a maximum of 70 marks and the Internal Assessments carries a maximum of 30 marks. Each of the paper carries 4 as a credit and candidates are offered marks as accordingly. The paper offers both Long answer as well as Short answer based questions and even Internal Options are also offered in the exam. The theory part has a maximum of three hours duration. Candidates should practice Mock based Test as well as different suggestions from the University in order to secure a very high marks in the final exam.
