The University of Delhi offers the course of Bio-Medical Sciences at the Post Graduate level. There are four papers in the First Year of the First Semester of the course. Each of the paper has a maximum of seventy marks for Theory paper, thirty marks for Internal Assessment, fifty marks for Practical and three hundred marks for Dissertation. Each of the theory paper has a maximum duration of three hours. Each of the part of the papers is offered with a particular level of grades and the candidates are offered marks in the final exam accordingly.

Both Long answer types as well as short answer type’s questions are offered in the exam. Candidates should go through a several amount of mock based practice papers in order to secure a high marks in each of the paper. There are suggestions too that are to be followed in order to attain confidence in the exam. The pattern of the syllabus does not change during the academic year. Like all Departments in the Faculty of Science, candidates of this department offered a suggestion paper before the exam to instill a high level of confidence in them.
