A student aspiring to pursue a Diploma in Comparative Mythology must know that it is a competitive one as it is offered by a few institutions of the country and is designed in such a way that the students can except to learn advanced of research involving different cultures mythologies, thus trying to identify the similarities or reconstruct “protomythology” in which mythologies were developed from. The course of one year consisting of two semesters and two years for part-time students in some of the universities. The distance learning programme is provided by some of the universities. The students get training in theoretical as well as in applied aspects of Comparative Mythology. The students need to secure 50% in every semester in order to get placed by the institutes.
