Profile:
Chhattisgarh High Court was established on January 11, 2000 and therefore it is among one of the newest High Courts in the country. The establishment of the court was performed after the Madhya Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2000. The court has its jurisdiction over the state of Chhattisgarh. Mr. Justice R. S. Garg was the first judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court. Justice Rajeev Gupta is the current Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court.
Job Profile:
Selected candidates will have to serve on the position of District Judge at High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be less than 35 years but not more than 45 years as on 1 Jnauary 2010. Relaxation is provided for the reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates are required to have a very good educational qualification in the relevant field for applying for the posts of District Judge at High Court of Chhattisgarh.
No. of posts: Total 13 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Consolidated slalry of Rs. 16750-20500 will be given to the selected candidates.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates are required to appear in the written examination and interview. Selected candidates will then undergo a medical examination of physical fitness by a Medical Board before their final appointment on the specified post.
How to apply: An examination fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 700 for SC/ST/OBC candidates) should be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar General, High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur payable at Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) alongwith the application forms at the address:
