This exam is conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. This university is offering post graduation course in Ayurveda. Admission to this course will be conducted according to the score obtained in this exam.

Structure and Syllabus of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences M.D. Ayurveda Entrance Exam

Total one hundred and fifty questions will be asked in this exam with duration of three hours. For each correct answer, half mark will be given for the candidate. Questions asked in this exam will possess multiple choices, from which candidates should select their choice. The medium of question paper will be either English or Telugu. Subjects for this exam with number of questions are given below.

• Ayurveda Ithihasa – 5 questions
• AstangaHridaya, Padartha Vignanna, – 20 questions
• Charaka Samhita (Purvardha and Uttarardha)
• Dravyaguna – 15 questions
• Rasatantra and Bhaisajyakalpa – 15 questions
• Roga Vignana and Vikruthi Vignana – 10 questions
• Swastha Vritha – 5 questions
• Agadatantra and Vyavahara Ayurveda – 5 questions
• Kayachikista and Panchakarma – 25 questions
• Salya Tantra – 15 questions
• Shalakya Tantra – 10 questions
• Prasuti & Stree Roga – 10 questions
• Bala Roga – 10 questions

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should possess BAMS degree from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences or any university mentioned in IMCC Act, 1970. Candidates need to have undergone training as internee or House officer. In-service candidates should possess three year regular service to apply for this test.

How to Apply?

Application forms will be provided only through university website www.pgntruhs.org.

Applicants need to take the print out of that form after filling it online. Then it should be submitted along with the DD of registration fee to The Convener, PG Admissions Committee, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, A.P, Vijayawada – 8. Applicants can submit the forms through post if it is not possible to submit directly. Registration fee specified for each category are given below

• OC/BC category: Rs.1000/-
• SC/ST category: Rs.800/-

DD should be taken in the name of Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, A.P, from any nationalized bank. It should be payable at Vijayawada.

How to fill the Form?

Applicant’s name should be entered same as in degree certificate in block letters. While entering the date of birth, make sure it is same as specified in S.S.C or equivalent certificate. There will be boxes specified on the form to enter the details of the DD taken to pay registration fee. Enter those details carefully without any mistakes. Recent photograph should be uploaded to the form as scanned image in JPEG, JPG or GIF format. After taking print out of the filled form, photograph resembled to that scanned image should be pasted on the space specified in the form. Press the confirmation button only after entering all the details.
