EAMCET (Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Test) is organized by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. This test is conducted for selecting eligible students to various professional programmes in both government and private colleges of Andhra Pradesh. The students who are qualified in EAMCET can pursue graduation in Medical Science, Agriculture, or Engineering.

Syllabus for EAMCET

The basic qualification needed to apply for EAMCET is 12th pass. To appear for engineering exam, the students must have pursued Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry in their 12th. To appear for Agriculture and Medical exams, they are required to study Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at the intermediate level. The syllabus for EAMCET will be based on 12th level Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

Question Pattern of EAMCET

EAMCET exam will have 160 questions in total, each carrying 1 mark. The question pattern is as given below:

For Agriculture:

  • Chemistry - 40 questions
  • Physics - 40questions
  • Biology-   80 questions

For Medical:

  • Chemistry - 40 questions
  • Physics - 40questions
  • Biology (Botany and Zoology) - 80 questions

For Engineering:

  • Chemistry – 40 questions
  • Mathematics – 80 questions
  • Physics -40 questions

The test includes only objective type questions with multiple choices. The applicants are required to complete the test in 3 hours. The students must be careful in selecting the correct answer.

    MY SON IS STUDYING IN HYDERABAD SINCE TWO YEARS
    HE WILL PASS 12TH BY ANDHRA BOARD. HE WILL WRITE EAMCET
    AND IF HE WILL GET GOOD SCORE . IS HE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE SEAT (mbbs) IN ANDHRA OR NOT BECAUSE WE ARE FROM KASHMIR
