Job profile: The candidates will put into the core areas of their specialization. They will be required to work on different projects. They will be in the sectors such as structural design, embedded systems, Hybrids, DSP etc. The candidates will be given the required training for 1 year.

Eligibility:
1. Only Indian Nationals can apply.
2. First class Engineering degree with minimum 60% (for general/OBC) and second class degree with minimum 50% (for SC/ST) from a recognized university in any of the following disciplines – Mechanical, EEE, ECE, CSE, E&I and Civil.
3. Age of the candidate must be below or 25 as on 30.06.2009.

No. of Vacancies: A total of 131 vacancies are there which are distributed among various categories as SC- 10, ST- 07, OBC- 19, UR- 91 and PH- 04.

Pay Scale: The candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 20,800 during the training period (1 Year). On successful completion of training they will be appointed as Engineers for three years on contact basis. There is a four year bond. After their contract is over they will absorbed as Technical Officers in the pay scale Rs. 16,400-40,500.

Selection Criteria: The candidate will have to appear for a written test followed by an Interview (only those who clear the written test). The date of written test will be intimated later.
