let me know about the admission procedure and the application form for getting admission in engineering courses 2012

Generally, admission to some engineering college is done on the basis of some entrance exam.

The list of top engineering entrance examinations are as under.
Kindly apply for the exams at the earliest.

1. IIT-JEE
This entrance exam is conducted for admission in 15 IIT campuses, IT-BHU Varanasi
and ISM Dhanbad.
Minimum 60% marks in 12th board exam (Science stream with Maths.) is required.
Only those candidates can apply for the exam who passed 12th in 2011 or who
are going to appear 12th board in 2012.
The sale of application form is over.
But you can apply online before December 10, 2011.

2. AIEEE
This entrance exam is conducted for admission in 30 NITs, 4 IIITs and many more
govt./private institution.
Minimum 50% marks in 12th board exam (Science stream with Maths.) is required.
Only those candidates can apply for the exam who passed 12th in 2010, 2011 or who
are going to appear 12th board in 2012.
The application process for the exam has been started already and the last date
to apply for the exam is December 31, 2011.

BITSAT
This entrance exam is conducted for admission in BITS Pilani.
There are three campuses of the college in India which are; Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.
For this entrance exam one should have at least 80% in 12th in PCM subjects
and at least 60% marks in PCM subjects individually.
Only those candidates can apply for the exam who passed 12th in 2011 or who
are going to appear 12th board in 2012.
Application process for the BITSAT shall start from next week onwards.

Apart from above mentioned entrance exams you can apply for State engineering entrance exams,
VIT Vellore entrance exam (VITEEE), MIT Manipal etc.

admission to the engineering courses is based upon either on the marks obtained in 12th standard or based on the marks in the entrance exam.
The various entrance exam conducted in india are aieee, iit jee , bitsat etc
Form admitting aspirants through the entrance exam applications will be available three to four months before the exam. Through Aieee the aspirant can get into iit, and other top colleges in India. IIT JEE is conducted to admit aspirants to the various branches of iit all over india. The applications for both the exam are a available in online as well as offline. The last date for applying for the exam may differ and the exam will be held with few days between them to allow the aspirants to attend both the exam without any problem.
In certain states like Tamil nadu , andhra pradesh admission is based on the marks obtained by the students in the higher secondary exam. The subjects which are taken into account are physics , chemistry and mathematics. The aspirants are ranked based on the marks and counselling is held with this the aspirants can get into college within the state.
Seats are reserved for each category of people . In private colleges few seats are allocated as management seats . Students can get into the course by this way too.

if you want to get into engineering colleges then you need to give some entrance tests to get into good engineering colleges. you can write iit, aieee, bitsat, eamcet, vit etc

to get into top 15 engineering colleges in india you need to write iit jee.
the eligibility for this is
candidate should have PCM subjects in 12.
candidate should complete 12 or appearing 12 exams.
you can apply online before 10 dec 2011.

you can also write aieee for this candidate should pass 12 or candidate who is going to appear his 12th exams this year.
you can appy for this exam before 31 dec 2011.
by this you can enter into top colleges like nit's.

you also can write vit ie vellore institute test(vieee)

you also can write BITSAT.
with this exam you can get admission into BITS campuses(pilani, goa and hyderabad).
for this you need to have more 60% of marks in PCM subjects individually and need to have above 80% overall in 12th.
