Those who are involved in the application of engineering principles to a variety of operations are referred to as Engineering Manager. They are responsible for the organizing, planning, and production management and other associated activities. They make use of their technical knowledge for the supervision of various activities of the organization. They are also involved in employee recruiting and in budget preparation. They usually hire engineers, scientist, technicians and other support personals as per the requirements of the organization. They supervise the work of other employees of the organization and make necessary corrections if required. Qualifying Exam
The candidate has to pass the bachelor degree in engineering to get eligible to the post of the Engineering Manager. At the entry level, they are appointed as engineers but as they gain experience, they are promoted to the role of Engineering Manager. Those with higher qualifications are mostly preferred for the position of the same. Most of the firms select candidates through written test and interview.
