Profile:
Federal Public Service Commission was established under the Government of India Act 1935. It was given constitutional status as an autonomous entity and a new title – Union Public Service Commission. The Union Public Service Commission was established under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. The commission actually consists of only one Chairman and ten members. UPSC is responsible for the recruitment of the canddiates to the services and posts under the Union through the conduct of competitive examinations.
Job Profile:
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts of Engineers through Union Public Service Commission. Selected candidates will have to do the development and the management work of the softwares.
Eligibility:
The age of the interested candidates should not be more than 30 years and not leass than 21 years as on August 1, 2010. Relaxation in age as per government rules.
Educational Qualification:
Interested candidates must hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institute or university.
No. of Posts: Several posts are available for the position of Engineers.
Pay Scale: The prescribed salary will be given to the selected candidates.
Selection Process:
Candidates will first have to qualify in the competitive examination named as Engineering Services Examination-2010 that to be held on August 1, 2010. After clearing the written examination only qualified students will be called for personality test.
