Those who apply for the undergraduate course in fashion designing should qualify the entrance test conducted by the concerned Institute. Some Institutes conducts group discussion and interview along with the written test to admit candidates to the fashion designing course. The most famous Institute offering fashion designing course in India is National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). After doing graduation, candidates can do post graduation in the same field. Candidates who wish to do post graduation should also qualify the entrance test conducted by the corresponding Institute.
