Job Profile:

Eligible Indian Nationals or Citizens are invited to apply for the vacant position of Financial Services Executives in the Eastern Zonal Office of Life Insurance Corporation of India. Candidates will be recruited in the Divisional Offices of Eastern Zonal Office of Life Insurance Corporation of India located in kolkata. The recruitments are to be made purely on contract basis for a period of 3 years only. However, the period of contract may be renewed by the corporation depending on the performance of candidate.

Eligibility:

Applicant must have completed atleast 21 years of age as on 31 OCtober 2011. Candidates should also have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit i.e. 35 years. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will get relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit. OBC category candidates will get relaxation of only 3 years in the upper age limit. Relaxation in the upper age limit will also be provided to the Ex-Serviceman candidates.

Educational Qualification:

Interested candidates are required to possess BAchelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institute or university of India. This minimum educational qualification is strictly need to be possessed by the interested candidates for applying on the above specified position in Life Insurance Corporation of India. However, preference will be given to the candidates possesing Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing/ Management. Candidates must have good knowledge of English language and also one regional language (preferably local language). Candidates should also have knowledge of soft skills such as MS word, Power Point etc, as it will provide an additional advantage to the candidates.

The amount of application fee must be submitted by the means of a Demand Draft only. The demand draft should be made in favour of Life Insurance Corporation of India payable at Kolkata. Candidates are also required to write their name and date of brith on the reverse side of the draft.

Selection Process:

The final selection of eligible candidates will be made only on the basis of the performance of a Personal Interview Test that will be held on a specified date. Eligible candidates may be intimated for the interview test in person by the means of call letters.
