Job Profile:

Eligible and professional candidates are invited to apply for the positions of Direct Sales Executives in Life Insurance Corporation of India (Central Zone). Selected candidates will be placed in the various offices of the corporation under the jurisdiction of Central Zonal Office. Appointments of eligible candidates on the specified post will be made purely on contract basis for a period of 3 years only. Vacancies may increase or decrease depending on the requirements of the office.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post of Direct Sales executives in Life Insurance Corporation of India (Central Zone) is 21 years. The maximum age limit set for the post is 35 years of age as on 1 May 2011. Candidates are required to be within the prescribed age limit set for the specified post or else their candidature will get cancelled. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university estbalished in India is required for applying on the position of Direct Sales Executive in Life Insurance Corporation of India. Those candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing or Manegement will get preference over others at the time of final selection. Good knowledge of English language alongwith one regional language is desirable for the post. Application Fee:

General and OBC categories candidates will have to submit an application fee of Rs. 100. This non refundable application fee is not required to be submitted by the SC and ST categories candidates. The requisite application fee should be submitted in cash in any branch office of Life Insurance Corporation of India under Account Code 114034. The application fee must be submitted before the last date for the payment of application fee.

Selection Committee:

A written examination consist of objective type questions is the first stage of the selection process of candidates for the specified positions in Life Insurance Corporation of India. A personal interview test is the next or last stage of the selection process. Candidates will have to qualify in both the examination for ensuring their selection on the prescribed position.
