Marks in class Xth will not matter for admission in diploma engineering course. Your son has to perform well in the entrances exam for getting admission in the above mentioned college.

Colleges are allotted through counselling and only those who have good rank get admission in top colleges. Therefore, your son should be well prepared for the entrance exam.
