I am doing diploma from mech. What are the basic requirement for AMIE after Diploma? Please reply.

Eligibility Criteria Required for doing AMIE after Diploma:

1) You are certainly eligible to do AMIE course after successful completion of Diploma Course. Here is the detailed educational qualification required.

2) Candidates must have completed a 3 year Diploma or its equivalent in any branch of Engineering from a recognized university.

3) There is no certain marks restriction. Hence candidates who successfully pass their Diploma are eligible to apply for AMIE course.

4) Candidates who have passed 12th Class with PCM subjects with minimum 45% are eligible to apply.

Eligibility qualifications required for AMIE:

The applicant must complete three years Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent, in any branch of engineering from a recognized Institutions/University. There is no minimum marks required.

Those students who have completed their (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks are also eligible to apply.

Normally, AMIE examinations are held on every June and December. The examinations are conducted in all major cities in India.

Any educational qualifications equivalent to the above, are also eligible to apply for AMIE. Those who pursue AMIE after their Diploma course are usually known as Diploma Stream Students (Senior Technician members).
