After completion of diploma in Electronics and telecommunication so you can do B.Tech degree in ECE through lateral entry exam.

If you have completed diploma/M.S degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for lateral entry exam.

Your age should be in between 16 to 26 years.

It is better that you can apply for B.E/B.Tech in concerned specialization. You can apply for the any one of the Bachelor Degree in Engineering below:

- B.E Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
- B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering
- B.E Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
- B.E Electronics and Power Engineering
- B.E Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
- B.E Electronics Engineering
- B.Tech Applied Electronics and Engineering

Being a Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication student you can directly enroll for B.E/B.Tech 2nd year through lateral entry However, you need to appear and qualify in the entrance exam conducted by the conducted by the respective university. The admission is based on the marks scored in the admission test.

After completing B.E/B.Tech you can find job opportunity in State Government or Central Government such as,

- Bharat Electronics Limited,
- Defense,
- Research Establishment,
- Entertainment transmission industry etc. T

One can make their career in Teaching or Research field. You can even open your own business of manufacturing electronics parts or components, repair or assembly shop for electronic items.
