Re: Can I become a school teacher after polytechnic diploma?
No, you are not eligible to become a school teacher after completion of your polytechnic Diploma course. To become a School teacher, you should have passed D.Ed or B.Ed course from a recognised institute. So, being a Diploma holder in Civil Engineering, you are not eligible to become a school teacher. You should have to pursue at least D.Ed course after completion of 12th standard to be eligible to apply for teacher job in schools.

Quote:
Sorry, you are not eligible to become a school teacher after polytechnic diploma course. Candidates with a 10+2 or a Bachelor’s Degree with a Diploma in Teaching Education or Diploma in Teacher Training or Bachelor of Education qualifications are eligible to apply for the teacher posts in various private schools. For getting a job in government schools, you have to clear the CTET or TET. Therefore, you have to study a BE or BTech in the same discipline and after completion of the BE or BTech course can apply for faculty posts. |
