I have completed my Civil Engineering Polytechnic Diploma, and now I want Diploma in Mechanical stream also. Can I get admission in the 2nd year Mechanical Diploma or not?

No, you can't get admission in 2nd year of Mechanical Engineering Diploma course after completion of your Diploma course in Civil Engineering. Admission in Diploma course are offered on basis of 10th standard or through entrance examination. Candidates who have completed 12th standard in Vocational stream can get direct admission in second year of Diploma course. So, even if you had already completed Diploma in Civil Engineering course, you can get admission only in first year of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering on the basis of your 10th standard.

No, I am sorry to say that you cannot get admission in 2nd year of Diploma(Mechanical) course as there is no provision for it. You can get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech/B.E. Civil Engineering after completion of your Diploma(Civil) by appearing LEET/JELEt examination.
