Re: Can I get Lateral Entry to study B.Tech if completed Engineering Diploma on 12th basis?
Yes, definitely you can get Lateral Entry admission to study B.Tech course even if you have completed Engineering Diploma course on the basis of 12th standard. Candidates who have completed three years Diploma course from any recognised board are eligible to get direct admission in second year of four years B.Tech course. But, to get admission in B.Tech course after completion of your Diploma course, you need to appear in Lateral Entry Engineering entrance examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc. By qualifying the entrance examination, you can get admission in second year of four years B.Tech course.
