Can I study B.Sc computer science after completing diploma in mechanical?


Can I study B.Sc computer science after completing diploma in mechanical? Can someone please give me the information on this as soon as possible? Awaiting for the answer. I just need to apply for the course accordingly. So, please help!

No, after completion of diploma in Mechanical Engineering, you are not eligible for B.Sc in Computer Science.

Those candidates who have completed diploma degree in Computer Science from a recognized university are eligible for B.Sc in Computer Science.

Your age should be above 17 years.

Yes you can study the B.Sc Computer Science course after Diploma in Mechanical. The eligibility to study the B.Sc Computer Science in Bharathiar University School of Distance Education is a pass in 10+2 or 10+3 year diploma. The aspirant can check the details in the link given http://www.b-u.ac.in/sde/courses_ug.html.

The course is available in Annamalai University, B.Sc Computer Science (Lateral Entry II Year), the eligibility is a pass in 3 year Technical Diploma after 10th standard. The student should attend the Personal Contact Programme (PCP).

Yes one can take admission in BSc computer science after diploma in mechanical engineering.
One can also take admission in any course of bachelor's degree after completing a diploma.

There are many other options that can be persued after diploma
PG Diploma in piping and Design engineering
Certificate course Pipe stress analysis
Diploma in piping technology etc

One can also join B.tech after diploma , as you are in mechanical stream , you can join mechanical engineering in college.
