Re: Diploma in Computer Technology is eligible for IBPS?
IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.
Every year IBPS is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of several positions like -Clerical positions -Probationary Officers -Specialist Officers on behalf of all the public sector banks. If you want to apply for IBPS Clerk Exam, you should possess the below mentioned eligibility criteria. Academic Qualification : You should have completed your Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. Age criteria : Your age should be between 20-28 years. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC candidates and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. As you have completed only Diploma course, you are not eligible to apply for this exam until and unless you complete your Graduation. So, I suggest you to opt for Graduation in the stream in which you are interested and along with that carry out your preparation for IBPS Exam. My suggestion would be to apply for IBPS PO Exam directly after completion of Graduation for which you need to secure a minimum of 60% of marks in your Graduation. Have good preparation for the Entrance Exam and crack it. For more information on this exam, you can visit http://ibps.in/ |

Re: Diploma in Computer Technology is eligible for IBPS?
It is regret to say that you are Not eligible to appear for the exam .Because Graduation is Minimum eligibility to apply for IBPS clerk exam .
I.B.P.S -- INSTITUTE OF BANKING AND PERSONAL SELECTION With Diploma qualification , you may apply for SBI clerk exam . But with the same qualification you can not apply for IBPS jobs . I have one solution for your problem , you must first complete Graduation from a recognized university . Try to complete Graduation first of all . Of course relaxation is available for reserved candidates . There is a relaxation for : OBC - 3 Years SC / ST -- 5 years You must have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university . And the minimum age must be 20 years . And the maximum age is allowed up to 30 years . So since you are with only diploma qualification , you are not eligible to appear for the exam . You must be an Indian Citizen and of course age relaxation available for Physically handicapped candidates . You must have secured 60% in your Academics . Especially for the widows and divorced women candidates the age limit could be from 18 to 35 years . IBPS became an independent entity at the behest of Reserve Bank of India and Public Sector banks . And IBPS is envisioned as self-governed academic and research oriented institute , with a mission of enhancing human resource development through personal assessment. Some kind of various exams are .. > C.W.E PO / MT for the position of Probationary officer or Management Trainess > C.W.E Clerk for Clerical position > Specialist Officer for Specialist officer positions > RRB Officers posts. So IBPS is conducting common written test for 19 government sector Banks for both clerical and Officer posts . Try to do your Graduation , then you will surely eligible to appear for the exam . |
