Re: Eligibility to appear in JEE Advanced for Diploma holder?
No, Diploma holders are not eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination. Only candidates who have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised board and those who have qualified and secured top 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination. Since, you have not pursued 12th standard and you have not appeared in JEE Main examination, you are not eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination.

Re: Eligibility to appear in JEE Advanced for Diploma holder?
No, you are not eligible to appear in JEE Advanced Examination being a diploma holder. The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for JEE Advanced examination is " Candidates must have passed 12th class from a recognized university with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) subjects". You cannot apply for NITs or CFTIs through JEE Examination Channel since you are a diploma holder. The important thing you must notice is that, you are eligible to apply for JEE Main Examination being a diploma holder. But your JEE Main rank and JEE Main Score will not be declared and valid for JEE Advanced exam since you are a diploma holder, and there by you cannot apply for JEE Advanced Examination. There is no separate examination for diploma holders, and they will be directly admitted in 2nd year B.Tech based on marks secured in entrance examination for B.Tech.

Re: Eligibility to appear in JEE Advanced for Diploma holder?
JEE is not for Diploma holders because there is no procedure for Lateral Entry admission.
Diploma holders are entitled for admission into 2nd year of B.Tech/B.E course. If you have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks then you are eligible for JEE exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category. Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years |
