I have done diploma in civil engineering.can I apply for loco pilot job

Diploma in civil engineering candidates are not eligible for loco pilot job. Only Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical or Automobile engineering stream is required for this job.

You have to try for other jobs according to your qualification in government sector like PWD.

Sorry that you are not eligible for Railway Loco Pilot job after completing Diploma in Civil Engineering job. Only those candidates who have completed their Diploma course such as, Electrical, Automobile, Mechanical, Instrument Mechanics, etc. are eligible to apply. The candidate's age must have reached 18 year, but should not have reached 30 years can apply for the exam and upper age relaxation will be given in to reserved category candidates.

A candidate must have 12th passed or equivalent diploma course . A candidate must have pass diploma in required fields-
Mechanical engineering.
Electronics Engineering.
Electrical Engineering.
Automobiles Engineering.

A candidate must have a minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 30 years.

Can I apply for alp I am in final year student of Delhi polytechnic. And my brach is polymer technology (plastic engineering).

Civil diploma are not eligible for Loco Pilot. It is mainly for Mechanical diploma candidates and sometimes also asks for Electrical or Electronics Diploma.
Being a Diploma in Civil,you have more chances in Railway than any other branch,as the number of vacancies for Civil JE are much higher.
Civil diploma can apply for posts of JE in Railways in departments like Works,P-Way,Track and Machine, Bridge,Design and estimation, Stores. Scope of promotion and earning (both black and white) are good for Civil JE in Railways.

Candidates must have completed Act Apprentice or ITI pass or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile Engineering and Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by AICTE. To become a Assistant Loco Pilot a candidate's age must fall into the range of 18 years to 28 years.
