Sir,
I want to do Part Time Diploma
course in Civil Engineering in Mumbai.
But I have 39.48% in my 10th standard.
Please tell me I am eligible for this?

Yes, candidates who have qualified 10th standard with at least 35% marks from a recognised board are eligible to pursue Diploma in Engineering course. To get admission in Diploma course, you need to appear in an entrance examination conducted by respective state entrance examinations board. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in first year of three years Diploma course.

Few states conduct diploma entrance exams for admitting students to diploma courses and few do not. Based on your interest, prepare for the entrance exam or directly join diploma course in management quota. since, you have very less marks in 10th class, you can not get seat under merit list. The cost for entering through management quota is quite high. Diploma is a three year course. After the completion of this course, you can join B.E in second year directly through LEET exam.
