Which further course should i do after Diploma in Marine Engineering?


I am planning to make career in Marine Engineering. I have just completed a Diploma in it. So i want to know which course to pursue further to enter into this field.

After this diploma you can go for higher education and many great opportunities in jobs are also there.

1. You can do graduation in marine engineering after you can apppy for
- Marine Engineer
- Assistant Engineer
-Fourth Engineer

As far as my best knowledge is concerned, the best course to pursue after successful completion of Diploma in Marine Engineering is B.E/ B.Tech in Marine Engineering. You may find employment opportunities in Oil, Gas and Shipping Industries. You can apply for jobs in Maritime Universities, Shipping Organization, Crew Institutions, Shipyards, Power Plants, Banks and in Hotels. Besides, you may find job opportunities in UPSC, Indian Navy and in Staff Selection Commission. As there is a good scope for Marine Engineering, I Strongly suggest you to pursue B.E/ B.Tech in Marine Engineering.
