Correspondence engineering diploma is not approved by AICTE and if you want to get an AICTE approved degree then you have to appear for entrance exam through which you have to do a regular course.

IGNOU offers correspondence diploma in engineering and you can go for it. It will be the best option for you because of so many study centers all over the country.
