Details About AMIE:

AMIE is conducted by Institution of Engineers (IEI) and this degree is being recognized by Government of India and is conducted on the months of June and December.

There are 2 types of process which are being held and they are:

1. Technical
2. Senior Technical

To get into AMIE you need to possess certain qualification and they would include such as:

# For Technical appearing candidate should have a education qualification of completed Degree in any stream from a recognized university

# For Senior Technical, the candidate appearing should have done a Diploma Degree or otherwise the should have completed +2/HSC/PDC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with at least 45% is eligible.


You would need to get a membership and get a ID card which is needed at the time of writing the exam,to be eligible for applying.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

# Download Exam Form and get a print out of it.

# Get a DD in favour of "The Institution of Engineers (India)" payable at Kolkata for exam fee.

# Write your ST/T number and name in the reverse side of DD.

# Choose your preferred examination center and note down code number of that center.

# Keep a Xerox copy of filled up exam form and DD for future reference.

# The Application should be sent to:
