Hello sir, I want to get admission in Diploma in Civil Engineering course in Punjab Engineering College. What is the procedure and eligibility criteria for it?

In order to pursue diploma in Civil engineering, you should have completed 10th standard in science, mathematics and English subjects with ITI qualification from a recognized institute. Or you should have complted 12th standard with matgematics, physics and chemistry with minimum 45% marks from a recognized board. You have to appear for an entrance examination in order to get admission for the course in the above mentioned college.

I am very much sorry to say that Punjab Engineering does not offer Diploma course in technical Education. The above mentioned college offers B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD courses.
However, to opt for the Diploma course in Civil Engineering, you must have to complete your class 10th examination with a minimum of 45% of marks in it.
Most of the colleges provide admission on the basis entrance examination conducted by the respective Council. The duration of the said course is of 3 years.

Really feel disappointment to inform you that Punjab Engineering Institute/ college does not offer the Diploma course in Technical Education. This institute/college offers only B. Tech, M. Tech, and Ph.D. courses as of now. However, to opt for the Diploma course in Civil Engineering. Candidate should have to pass class 10th examinations with a minimum 45% marks.
Most of the colleges render admittance on the basis of entrance exam, usually conducted under respective Council.
The length of this course is 3-three years.
