I want to give the diploma common entrance test (dcet) for engineering course in karnataka this year. I want to know about the maximum age limit set for the canddiates to appear for this test. Please answer.

Generally there is no certain age criteria for appearing in Diploma Common Entrance Test in Karnataka. But there is a minimum age criteria for appearing in Diploma Common Entrance Test. Here is the age criteria required for Karnataka Entrance Test.

>> Candidates age must not be less than 17 years.

The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test is

* Diploma in concerned discipline from a recognized university - For B.E Courses

* Diploma Examination or its equivalent having with NATA - For B.Arch courses

Those candidates who have completed diploma course or final year of diploma course from a recognized university are eligible for DCET entrance exam.

Your age should be in between 18 to 22 years.

Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test(DCET) for admissions into engineering colleges located in the state.

Applicants of DCET need to be above 18 years of age and under 22 years of age.

So, 22 is the maximum age limit for DCET.
