Respected Sir/Madam, I came to know that United Bank of India provides Education Loan under United Superb Education Loan scheme. I really don’t know about this scheme. Can anyone of you let me know about this Superb scheme?

Details of United Superb Education Loan Scheme are mentioned below :-

=> Eligibility :- You should be an Indian National and should have secured admission to higher education course through entrance examination/ merit based selection process.

=> Quantum of Finance :- Max Rs. 30 lakhs

=> Processing Charges :- Nil

=> Security :-
For List A Institutes :-
Upto Rs. 20 lakhs :- Nil
Above Rs. 20 lakhs :: Tangible collateral security covering loan amount

For List B Institutes :-
Upto Rs. 10 lakhs :- Nil
Above Rs. 10 lakhs :- Tangible collateral security covering loan amount

=> Margin :-
For List A Institutes :-
Upto Rs. 20 lakhs :- Nil
Above Rs. 20 lakhs :- 5%

For List B Institutes :-
Upto Rs. 10 lakhs :- Nil
Above Rs. 10 lakhs :- 5%

=> Repayment Holiday :- Course Period plus one year or 6 months after getting a job, whichever is earlier.

=> Repayment Tenure :- 10 years after commencement of repayment.

Courses Eligible for Study in India:

Professional Courses : Engineering, Medical, Management etc. as per Bank’s approved list.

Courses conducted by IIM, IIT etc. as per Bank’s approved list

Quantum of Loan For study in India : Maximum Rs. 20 lac

Expenses covered by the Loan : Fees payable to College Hostel.

Examination/ Library/ Laboratory Fee.

Purchase of Books/ Equipments/ Instruments/ Uniforms.

Caution Deposit/ Building Fund/ Refundable Deposit supported by Institution Bills/ Receipts.

Travel Expenses/ Passage Money for studies abroad.

Purchase of Computers : Essential for completion of the Course.

Any other expenses required to complete the Course like study tours, project work, thesis, etc
