Does Bank charges different Interest rates to study MBBS in other state?


Hello,
I want to study MBBS after my 12th as I am doing my 12th Science in Gujarat. I am planning to apply for a Bank Education Loan. I want to know that if I get admission in other state then the Bank will charge me different interest rate?

The main aim of the educational loan is to provide financial support from the banking system to pursue higher education. All nationalized banks provide educational loan towards higher studies either in India or abroad. Generally banks provide educational loan based on the academic fee, hostel fee etc..,. It does not charge separate interest rates if you study in another state. While providing the loan mainly the banks consider the candidate qualification, college admission letter with academic fee. After all verification it sanctions the educational loan. For example, if you apply in SBI it has interest rates same all over India.
