Re: Fee structure of Ram Swaroop Engineering College for fee waiver candidates?
Ram Swaroop Engineering College provides merit scholarships and fee waivers for deserving candidates selected for admission. Fees after applying approved waivers would be:
Tuition fees: If you have been granted 25% waiver on tuition fees, you will have to pay 75% of the tuition fees for your program which is usually Rs. 42,000 - Rs. 72,000 per year. Similarly, 50% waiver will reduce your tuition fees to 50% and 100% waiver will not charge any tuition fees. The exact fees will depend on your program and year of study. Development fees: Development fees are normally Rs. 25,000 per year for engineering programs which all students have to pay. No waivers are applicable on development fees. Caution deposit: A one-time refundable caution deposit of Rs. 10,000 is charged at the time of admission. This deposit is refunded at the end of the course if there are no dues outstanding. Library fees: Library fees of Rs. 5,000 per year are charged from all students for access to library resources and facilities. No waivers on library fees. Hostel fees: For staying in the college hostel, hostel fees of Rs. 40,000 - 60,000 per year including mess charges have to be paid. If hostel seat is allotted to you, you will have to pay the full hostel fees irrespective of any tuition fee waiver. Discounts may be applicable only if you decide not to stay in the hostel. Any contribution/donation: While the college does not strictly mandate any contribution or donation, many students/guardians contribute Rs. 5,000 to 25,000 voluntarily for additional facilities and resources. This is not part of fees and waivers will not be applied on contributions. It is completely optional. Extra charges: No waivers on examination fees, medical checkup fees, certificate fees or any other extra charges applicable as per your program and year of study. Students have to pay all such additional fees in full. Fee waivers only reduce the tuition fees component. All other regular and extra fees have to be paid by all students admitted under every category including with fee waivers. Please contact the college authorities or admissions department if you need any clarification on fees applicable to you after fee waivers. |
