Can anyone of you kindly let me know about the details of margin which is available in the education loan scheme of Oriental Bank of Commerce? I want to apply an education loan in this bank for my education. Please help me to know about this.

Margin under Oriental Bank of Commerce education loan scheme is as follows:

There is no margin required for Category A and Category B institutions (list of institutions in category A & B are available in the OBC education loan website given below).

For other institutions:
Up to Rs 4 Lacs – NIL
Above Rs 4 Lacs – 5% for studies in India and 15% for studies abroad

Margin under Oriental Bank of Commerce Education Loan scheme is mentioned below

Borrowers are not required to bring in any loan margin for education loans taken up to Rs 4 lakhs. But IOB requires a loan margin of 5% for studies in India and a margin of 15% for studies abroad for loan amounts exceeding Rs 4 lakhs.
