The interest rate fluctuates from time to time as per the orders from the Reserve Bank of India. The bank does not have any hand in the interest rate. You need to comply with this norm since the interest rate may decrease or increase from time to time. Usually the interest rate fluctuates from 13 to 14 to percentage and the interest is accounted as simple interest.
