You can enter in army by giving various exams.Type of jobs and working of job in army is depend upon type of exam.
If you crack these exams you will be selected as officer.

CDS ( Combined Defense Services ) examination :-

UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) twice in every year conducts the common entrance exam for the entry into CDS.

- UNMARRIED MALE & FEMALE eligible for CDS exam.
- UNMARRIED FEMALE eligible for CDS OTA exam only.

Eligibility :

Educational qualification :

- for Navy : B.Sc ( Physics & Mathematics ) or Bachelor of Engineering.


Age Criteria :

- For Naval Academy-19 to 22


Important dates for CDS exam:
CDS-I exam:
Issuing of application form from 29th Oct 2011 to 28th Nov 2011.
Exam will held on 12th Feb 2012.
CDS-II exam:
Issuing of application form from 2nd June 2012 to 2nd July 2012.
Exam will held on 16th Sep 2012.

Age 19.5 Years to 25 Years
Educational Qualification:

B.Sc student with minimum 60% marks in Physics,Mathematics & Electronics.

indian navy forms come in janaury 2014 u can update with the employment news paper and submit ur form

In every year many vacancies in indian army and indian navy.that exam shuld v held in twice in a year.first in the march or feburary and second on the septembar. Check the daily newspaper and employment news paper.
