Sir,I am a candidate of ISC board.I got 69 percent in best of four,but 72 percentage in accounts.I have applied for b.com honours.My query is that if i get low percent in first year,is my honours will remain or cutted,then for that what percent i have to maintain.If any candidate apply for b.com general with low percent instead of honours and if he get good percent in respective subject then he could be transferred to honours.

when b.com part-2 result is out. Anybody can tell me,plz inform me

but dont forget to do hard work

eligibility is only 55 % of marks is required in 10+2 ......
and buisness studies is applicable.....so start preparing yourself from today onwards..

then you eligible for apply B.com in allgarh university.
for this you have secure 40% mark minimum.
then you eligible for admission in college..........

these are the eligiblity creteria of b.com hons. of calcutta university-

Honours in Accounting & Finance-

for General candidates- 55% in aggregate + 60% in Accountancy / Mathematics or in any related subject (see below). + Minimum 30% marks in Mathematics at the Secondary (Class X) level.

for SC/ST- 40% in aggregate OR 40% in Accountancy / Mathematics or in any related subject (see below).

2. Honours in Marketing-

for General- 50% in aggregate + 55% in Accountancy or Mathematics
for SC/ST- 40% in Accountancy or in any related subject.

If your want to join b.com course in calcutta university it's not simple thing . it is rare to get admission in calcutta university .you should require good percentage of marks don't worry i provide you details .

You should be finished 12th in any stream with 60% percentage of marks from recognized board And also you should be score good marks in major subject like ,

>>Commerce

>>Economics

>>Maths

Note : There giving first preference to commerce with maths candidates

your age should be 18 years to 24 years .

Dear Friend,

The eligibility criteria to apply for the B.Com course under the University of Calcutta varies from college to college.
Different college has different criteria.The fixed criteria is that the candidate must has Accountancy as main subject in 10+2 level.In good colleges the candidate must score 60% marks in best of five or four subjects.

Business Studies in ISC is applicable instead of Mathematics.

So you are quite eligible for the course.

University of Calcutta is one of the best and oldest Universities in India.

It provides B.Com course to the 12th pass candidates. But the eligibility criteria for this course is :

1. A minimum 55% aggregate in 12th with more than 60% marks in Maths or Accountancy whichever is studied.

2. A relaxation of 10% is given to the SC/ST/OBC candidates in both these aggregate and the respective marks in Accountancy/Maths.
