I am getting around 185 in Maths and about 250 in GAT. Do I have a chance to stand in the final merit list if I am selected in the SSB as well as the medicals. I mean, will I be able to get the Service wing I have selected the first?

sir i have done 38 corect questions of maths &76 of gen.ability ,will i be getting a call for the ssb.

I WILL BE GETTING 120 IN MATHS & 236 in gen. Ability test held on 17 april 2011 will i b selected

RS aggarwal is the best book for nda which is mathematics for nda of s chand publication.and if you have last year papers of mathematics of nda then they are enough to score 80or90% in nda mathematics.

in NDA approximately 2lacs student applied out of which 1.5lacs appeared.afterwritten exam 8200 stundents qualified for ssb out of which approx 700 finealy cleared ssb and then 350 were slected.uppsc never disclose cut off what it is 47% that is 100 marks in math and remaining in g.s s.s.bhardwaj

nda maths paper contains the syllabus of +1 and +2. you must prepare it throughly. if you prepare it completely ,then you will surly crack the exam.

r.s aggarwal nda book is good. but i suggest you to by upkar nda maths book because i see and read it completely. it contains all the concepts.

i do not think that you will be qualify for nda -1 because your marks in maths is only 74 ..... as minimum requirement is 120.
and in general ability test minimum requirement is 250.
but your marks is again less than the requirement.
so i think your selection is impossible

there are many ways to go in defence field:
1) you can enter after +2 in defence by nda
2)you can enter in naval through technical course scheme
3) in aRMY through 10+2 tes
after graduation you can enter in it .
if you have engineering degree you can enter in it.
you also enter in it by by 6th graduation , 10th graduation...
