I need to know the qualifications required for getting jobs in Indian Navy after appearing in NDA entrance examination. Please reply.

Yes you can apply for NDA exam after completing 12th. You are eligible for Army, Air force and Navy.

You must give the preference for Navy while applying for the NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Eligibility for NDA :
1. A candidate must complete 12th MPC stream from a recognised board.
2. Candidate's age must be in 16 1/2 - 19 years.
3. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
4. All the applying candidates must be a citizen of India.
5. There are no reservations provided in any case.
6. Female candidates are not eligible for NDA exam.

Educational Qualification Required to appear in NDA Exam to join Indian Navy:

NDA and NA (National Defense Academy and Naval Academy) Examination is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. NDA Examination is basically conducted for the admission into Army Wing, Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA. The educational qualification required basically varies from wing to wing of NDA. Here are the detailed educational qualification required,

>> For Army Wing of NDA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or its equivalent.

>> For Air Force Wing of NDA: 12th Class Pass of 10+2 pattern of School Education with Physics and Mathematics or its equivalent from a recognized university.

>> For Naval Wing of NDA: 12th Class Pass of 10+2 pattern of School Education with Physics and Mathematics or its equivalent from a recognized university.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts NDA exam every year for admission in Army, Navy and Air Force Wings.

--12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University for Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy.

Selection Procedure: The selection Procedure consists of written exam, psychological aptitude test, intelligence and personal test and SSB interview.

Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects from a recognized School.
Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.
Age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.
Appearing in the 12th examination may also eligible to apply for this examination.

10+2 Technical Naval Entry Scheme :-

Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects from a recognized School.
You must have secured at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in English subject in 10th Std or 12th Std.
Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.
Age should between 17 years to 19 years.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is an academy that is meant for providing necessary training and education to those who are willing to become officer in the Indian Defense and have cleared NDA entrance examination.

NDA entrance examination is organized twice every year by Union Public Service Commission in two stages which includes written examination and Service Selection Board interview respectively.

--> To be eligible for appearing in the same examination for joining Indian Navy you must have the qualifications mentioned below :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male resident.

* Your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.

* You must have either completed or must be in the final year of your higher secondary degree course with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects from a recognized board. Students with any equivalent degree course are also eligible.

* You must have the physical and mental toughness as per the service requirement norms.

Educational required to appear in NDA to get job in Indian Navy :

Candidate must have passed 12th class with Physics and Mathematics or equivalent from any recognised board.
There is no minimum percentage criteria.

Age limit : 16.5 to 19 years.

NDA stands for the National Defense Academy. Union Public Service Commission conducts entrance exam for recruitment of candidates into different wings of defense like Army, Navy and Airforce twice every year.

Any candidate who has done 10+2 from a recognized board is eligible for NDA exam but for Air force and Navy, candidate must have done 10+2 with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. 10+2 appearing candidates can also apply.

The age limit for the NDA/NA exam is 16.5-19.5 years and no upper age relaxation applicable to anyone. You must be unmarried male Indian citizen to apply for the exam. After that you must clear written test, SSB to get the job.
