No, you are not eligible for indian air force after 12th.. to join in indian air force you have to first complete your grafuation..
then you can join Indian air force through the schemes like-
1.SSCW(technical)- if you have done your graduation in technical field then you can apply for the scheme.. after that they will call you for interview..

2.SSCW(non technical)-if you have done your graduation in general field then you can apply for this scheme..

After 12th girls are not eligible to apply for the Indian Air force. Girls can only apply for the Indian Air force as an officer after the completion of their graduation.

After the graduation girls can apply for the Indian Air force through Combined defence entry scheme. The eligibility required for the CDS exam is given below.
Education Qualification
For the CDS exam candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for the CDS examination.

Age Limit
For the Indian Air force candidate age should be between 19 - 23 years.


If the candidate is an engineering student then girls can apply through university entry scheme in final year of engineering. Through this entry scheme they can apply for the Technical branch if the Indian Air force and the ground duty branches.

No, girls after passing 12th cannot join the INDIAN AIRFORCE.
The minimum age limit for joining IAF for girls is 19 years and should have completed graduation from any government affiliated university.

No it is not eligible because for direct entry 1.you should be 12th passed. 2.in pcm you should score above 55
3. age between 19 to 23. 4.physically fit

Girls cannot enter in airforce or in army or navy after 12. Girls can join defence forces only after completing the graduation from a recognised university with 60%.

Girls can enter into the defence forces only as SSC entry i.e short service commission.


Following is the eligibility criteria for Girls to join Indian Airforce:

1. Age: 20-23 years.

2. Educational qualification: Graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

3. Marital Status: Unmarried.

4. Gender: Applicable to both men and women.

5. Nationality: Indian.

no,you can not appear for airforce at his stage but after doing your three year degree or engineering you can appear for it..

there are three ways to get into airforce after graduation
1.NDA
after your 12th you have to clear its written and ssb and after doing this you will do graduation under this.....and training at AFTC college in banglore
2.CDSE
after graduation this is a common defance service exam after its written you will be called for SSB and on clearing it you can join army....for airforce you will be provided a special training...
3.AFCAT
this is mainly for short service in airforce after graduation the same procedure is followed as in CDSE

there are three branches in airforce
1.flying branch(you have to clear PABT test and SSB and a special training of 1.5 years)
2.tech.branch(you have to clear EKT test and SSB and special training for 1.5 yrs)
3.ground duty branch(you have to clear SSB and 1 yr training)

how much period is declared for air force grp x technical trade training

no dear, just after passing 12 th standard you are not able to join air force.
for this you have to done your graducation.
after this you are eligible for the different type of exams.
you also give AFCAT exam which is also best.

No! the only way for apply for air force after 12th is to apply for NDA exam,conducted by UPSC every year,.
girls are not eligible for this exam. girls can apply for indian air force only after graduation in PCM group with at least 60%.
