You are not eligible in BITSAT because only those candidate appear that obtained 80% marks U have get only 72%.
Don't Worry U can get an Admission through IIT,AIEEE top class College. Best of luck |

To be eligible to appear in BITSAT a candidates needs to pass 12th with atleast 80% marks in aggregate in PCM. Also a candidate should score a minimum of 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Only those candidates who have passed 12th in 2009 or are appearing in 2010 are eligible to appear for BITSAT.

BIT have some cutoffs so minimum cutoff required for the admission to BTech is 390 score and 80% is ofcourse necessary for admission

for BITSAT you must have a total of 80% marks in physics, chemistry and maths. as your marks are just 72%, so you are not eligible

Dear friend,
The eligibility criteria is that you should have minimum of 80% marks individually in all the three main subjects i.e. Physics,Chemistry and Maths. You can fill the form of BITSAT online and you have to send DD for this. |

BITS pilani is the renowned college in India which offer the different course here and for the different courses, the eligibility is different,if you want to take admission in the bits then you must have atleast 80% marks in the 12th,also there should be 60% marks in the pcm, and also you have to appear for the entrance exam,and after the selection in the exam you will be called for the admission,but if you have not exact 80% marks or your marks is below the 80% then you are not eligible,for getting the more information you can visits the following websites;www.bitsadmission.com

Hello,
The eligibility for BITSAT is 80% marks in +2 with a 60% aggregate in PCM. Since you have scored only 72%, you are not eligible. However dont loose heart, you are still eligible for IIT-JEE, AIEEE and various other entrance examinations. Good Luck! |

For admission in the BIT-SAT ou must have to secure 80% marks in the +2 level otherwise you will not be considered at the time of admission..
As you have mentioned that you are havinbg only 72% marks in +2 ,so sorry to say that you are not eligible for the exam.. You can go for any other institution for engineering... Best Wishes in the future.. |

As per the rules stated in BITSAT brochure you are not eligible to apply for BITSAT. Since you have attained less than 80% marks in PCM subjects. It is other thing that you have also attained individual more than 60% marks in each one. But for eligibility both conditions should be fulfilled. For admission to any of the above integrated first degree programmes the candidate should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized central or state board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Further, the candidate should have obtained a minimum of 80% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English However, admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT-2011 Only students who are appearing for 12th class examination in 2011 or who have passed the 12th class examination in 2010 are eligible to appear for BITSAT-2011 Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear for BITSAT-2011 Direct admission to board toppers Students who obtain first rank in any central or state level board exam in India held in the year 2011 will be given direct admission to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2011 score subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned above In addition to applying and appearing for BITSAT-2011, candidates will have to apply for admission to BITS through a separate application form for seeking admission to programmes offered at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses along with the details of the 12th class marks. hey guys i hav doubt regarding the word "12th class"..........what does it mean ?????????? both 1 and 2....or only 2 ........ i m asking this qstion bcoz i hav got only 27 marks in physics out of 60 in second year where as i hav got 57 in first year .........so according to the eligibility criteria tht minimum of 60% in 12th examination,i will be eligible for bitsat only if they consider agregate of both the years ...........and if they consider only second year then i m gonna crash out.........sooo plzzzz help me guys by sending what 12examination exactly means............hope i get a positive reply........................
