I have pssed 12th in 2009 with 72% marks in aggregate in PCM, but scored more than 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Am I eligible to appear for BITSAT - 2010 ? Please give me reply as early as possible. With regards.

To be eligible to appear in BITSAT a candidates needs to pass 12th with atleast 80% marks in aggregate in PCM. Also a candidate should score a minimum of 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Only those candidates who have passed 12th in 2009 or are appearing in 2010 are eligible to appear for BITSAT.

if you have scored 72% in your board exam then you are not eligible

i want to know what is the minimum % requried to be eligible to seat for bitsat.

Sorry friend, you are not eligible for BITSAT-2010. The minimum requirement for appearing in BITSAT-2010 is 12th pass with atleast 80% marks in aggregate. And yes one important thing is that only those candidates who have passed 12th in 2009 or are appearing in 2010 are eligible to appear for BITSAT-2010.

sorry but you are not eligible.NO doubt that your have scored 60% in your PCM which comes under eligibility criteria but obstacle is your score in 12 class which is 72% since the required one is 80%.

But you have got 72% aggregate marks in class 12th.that's not come in eligibility criteria.

so sorry yar, but you should try for other examination.

Its very sorry to say that for becoming eligible for BITSAT,one needs to have an overall aggregate of 80% whereas above 60% in all three sciences(PCM) but no need to get disheartened.There are many a options like AMCAT,AAIDU,SAT(for abroad studies),etc.Best of luck for your future.

i am sorry sohom ,you are not eligible for BITSAT-2010,because of following two reasons;

1)firstly you dont have the minimum educational criteria to write BITSAT,ie >80% in your class 12th.

2)also BITSAT have only one chance so you could have written it in 2009,no its 2010.so not eligible.

there are only two basic requirements to be eligible for BITSAT-2010:

1)you should have scored more than 80% in your 12th class,and

2)you should be in your current year,that is if you have taken any drops after 12th class then you are not eligible for BITSAT.

friend your marks doesnot satisfied the required marks which is 80%.so you are not elligible.

eligibility criteria for bitsat 2010:
one has to score a minimum of 80% in 12th, with a minimum of 60% in each physics, chemistry,mathematics.

you should have a minimum of 80 % in PCM for appearing in bitsat
and you are not eligible by any means better try for other forms
this would be better if you take plain graduation and latter opt for mba

u need to get 80% in mpc to be eligible for writing BITSAT-2010,though u may write the test they will not consider u if you % is less than 80.

i have an overall % of 82 and pcm aggregate of 76%in pcm am i eligible?

bitsat is taken for birla institute of technology.the minimum requirement is 80% in 12th.that's all.

you should have 80% in your pcm group....and at least 60% on each subject(PCM)
and you should have english as a paper in your +2 exam.......

Yes you can write BITSAT but you cant get admission into BITS because minimum is 80.00%. BITS doesnt show any mercy on students who loose just by 1 percent

The eligibility for the bitsat is 80.00%..So you can appear for the bitsat -2010 but you cant get admission in that college...

i think u should pass +2 with atleast 80% and should hav atleast 60%in pcm.....
then u need to secutre good rank in the exam also.....

see if u fill up the form do not worry go and give the exam yes everybody know that eligibility criteria is 80% wait till end may be some seats are not filled there and u get a seat so do not worry.

sorry you are not elligible..although more than 60% in each of the 3 subjects is needed but you have to get 80% to get qualified in bitsat...

u need at least 80% marks in aggregate in PCM for BITSAT with at least 60% in each so sorry u r not eligible..however if u hv a very good AIEEE rank u can get into BIT..
