For railway jobs you have to fight RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) exam. Every state opens separately RRB exam and all exams held in a same day. Indian Railway publish the vacancies in employment news, rozgar samachar and opens in internet website - www.freshersworld.com All the Best |

There are many exams conducted by the UPSC through which you can fetch a good job in railways.Some of the important exams with high pay are:-
UPSC recruits Group A officer through Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination (SCRA Exam). You can get in through the Civil Service Examination through which you can choose Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) and the Indian Railways Accounts Service (IRAS) You can even go through Combined Engineering Service examination through which you can get selected for posts like Assistant Engineers in the following departments like Indian Railway Service of Engineers(IRSE),Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE),Indian Railway Services of Signal Engineers(IRSSE) and Indian Railway Store Service(IRSS) You can even go through examinations for posts like TT(Travel Ticket Examiner). |

there is so many examination to join in indian railway. most of the time the written examination to recruit in indian railway is conducted by UPSC. visit their website http://www.upsc.gov.in you will get information regarding this.
also IES examination is there to join in Indian railway. also you may appear in civil service examination. there is some post in indian railway in which recruitment is done through civil service examination. as you are engineer so you may join in indian railway as a group A rank officer. actually when notification is published then all the details is given about the examination along with the notification. so read carefully the notification and be prepare for the examination. |

Dear friend
If you want to join INDIAN RAILWAY as an engineer then you have to appear in the IES exam conducted by UPSC. After qualifying in this exam,if your rank would be best then you will get Indian railway. You can also join Indian Railway as section engineer. For this you have to appear in the exam conducted by different railway recruitment board.The form of this exam generally published in the month of august to november. Best of luck |

hi friend..
there are lots of exam that u can apply for to get in to railways jobs like.. RRB,SCRA,IRTC..and many more.. but i would suggest to go for RRB and SCRA science they are more recognized exams.... for RRB some of the basic requirements is that.. ---engineering graduates and those who are in final year are eligible to apply for it... --the age limit for it is between 21 to 30 years.. --to apply u can purchase the application from an information bulletin,acknowledgment card and an envelope for sending the form .. where as for SCRA some of the requirements are as follows.. --must be citizen of india.. --age limit is not more then 17 years.. --candidates must hae passed in the first or second division.. --you must be physically fit.. hope these helps you.. all the best for it. |
