But yo should keep in mind that there are options for Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg / Mechanical Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg in DRDO.

Hi,

Yes,you can go with the DRDO.

But it is diffficult to step into DRDO.

Through gate exam you can enter into this DRDO company.

Gate is conducted all over India so you have to work hard to get that.

To apply to DRDO for Training, you have got to have a reference who can vouch for you as family/friend. The reason being that DRDO deals with most of Defence Research and Development, they do not want to take up Trainees for 6 months who could risk their privacy. So your first priority should be to find some acquaintance or relative working presently in the DRDO that you want to train at.
Through them you should approach DRDO with your training letter endorsed by your college TPO/ Director.

Eligibility for Internship in DRDO-

You must be citizen of India.
You must be third year of your graduation.
You must have minimum 60% marks in previous years of graduation.
Your age should be in between 19-27 years.

You can apply for summer training to Director of a suitable lab as per your discipline. You may visit DRDO website http://www.drdo.gov.in for this purpose.

its difficult to get internship after 2nd year unless you have solid contacts.

You should try to find contacts/relative/friend who are working DRDO and ask them to push your CV to company HR.
Being a request from employee, HR would give preference to them
