Introduction:
Sub-inspector post carries pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 in Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/. Post of Sub Inspector in SSB and BSF are classified as Group `B Non-Gazetted. Post Sub Inspectors in CISF, ITBP and CRPF are classified as Group “C”. Staff Selection Commission conducts the related exam for entry in Police organisation as a sub-inspector.

Eligibility:
All entries regarding the sub-inspector requires a graduation in any field and for this a person should be between 20-25 years of age.

Pattern:
Generally entrance exam would come in this performa:
1. Paper I
(a) General Intelligence and Reasoning
(b)General Awareness
(c)Numerical Ability

2. Paper II
Subjects - (a) Hindi Language - 100 Marks
(b) English Language - 100 Marks

for appear in this exam you must have to complete your graduation in any stream from a recognized college.

the age limit-
20-25 years, there are also some years of age relaxations are applicable for SC\ST\OBC candidates.

also you must have citizen-ship of India.

minimum height required for this post is 168 cm for male & 152 cm for a female candidate.
chest for male candidate is 80-85 cm.

for this post of SI ,there are many entrance exams conducted by their own states.
for appear in this exam you must have to complete graduation from a recognized college.

Sub Inspector of Police examinations are conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission).

the eligibility criteria is:

--> Should complete graduation in any discipline from a regonised college/university.

--> Nationality - Indian

--> Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

--> Height - minimum 5’ 6″

--> Chest - 32′ (Normal) and after expanding 34'

Dear Friend,

The minimum educational qualification required for the sub inspector job is graduation.The age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 30 years.
The OBC and SC/ST candidates are provided with 3 years and 5 years age relaxation.
