Your aggregate is 54.6%
But your Pcm %age is 60.3%
For general category & OBC at least 60% marks in aggregate.
For SC,ST & PD at least 55% in aggregate.
If you fall in SC,ST & PD category, then you may be eligible.

the criteria is-
*you must have physics,chemistry,math in 12th..
*you must have 40% marks in Physics, chemistry,maths.

12th appearing or appeared students are eligible..
And a student must have minimum 60% marks in 12th class..

Yes you are eligible for IIT JEE.
To apply for IIT you require a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics,chemistry,mathematics for general/OBC candidate and 5% relaxation for SC/ST and you have it.No of attempts are only 2.

you must have passed 12th
if you belong to GE, OBC and DS categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in their 12.
Whereas, if you are SC, ST and PD categories must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the 12

i am completed my XII in 2009-2010....now i am appearing for iit in 2012 am i eligibile
i didnt attempted iit jee exam in the past years...first time i am appearing am i eligible for that..

But for now YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR WRITING IIT JEE exam 2011, because in PCM you are having 60.33% aggregate. After you Exam you must concentrate on BIOLOGY exam.

Please write the complementary Exam for Biology Exam, clear it because No college will allow you to join in their college.You must be all clear with all the Theory Exam.

Ellligibility criteria for applying in IIT-JEE are as follows :
(1)atleast 60% aggregate in intermediate or equivalent with physics ,chemistry and maths compulsory

(2)must be physically fit for studying in iits

(3)your university should be recognized by government of india.

you have allmost 61% in considering without biology.so if you have maths as main subject then you are elligible otherwise not.

Yes,you are eligible for the IITJEE examination because you have above 60% in average of physics, chemistry and mathematics. accrding to IITJEE a candidate have minimum 60% in average of PCM. So you are eligible.

As you told me that you are failed in class 12 so you are not eligible for IIT
because for this you have to passed class 12th with 60% so dont loose hope and give the improvmental exam of that particular subject then you apply for IIT.

For th IIT JEE the elligibility criteria should have:

you shuold pass the 12 th exam with combination PCM of 60% ,mark
you can appear the exam for 2 times;


As per this you if you are elligible then.. go for prapairation, else if you heve doubt on it you .. can go for direct contact with IIT

sorry to inform you that but you are not eligible for IITJEE;

eligibility for IITJEE is;

-a candidate should be 12th from any stare board or central board
with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in PCM

your marks is about 60% in PCM but you because of your biology
marks your aggregate is less than 60% so you are not eligible.....

Eligibility For IIT-JEE

In order to appear for IIT-JEE you need to fulfill the following conditions :-

1) You should have 60% or above in Physics,Chemistry and Maths in 12th

2) You can appear for IIT-JEE only twice..once in the year of passing of 12th and the other in the next consecutive year..

3) You should be within 25 years of age..

Your aggregate in PCM turns out to be just above 60% so you are definitely eligible for appearing in IIT-JEE provided that you are within the age limit of 25 years..

Am I eligible for IIT JEE?

For appearing in IIT-JEE entrance exam , you must have at least 60% marks aggregate in class 12th or equivalent .Here if biology is your extra subject then your aggregate marks will be calculated leaving the marks of biology so you have
55+71+55+55+71=307 marks in 5 subjects which gives an aggregate percentage of 61.4 percent.


So you are eligible . Don't worry

you are eligible for iit-jee.the min.marks required are 60% for open/obc category if you are taking a gap for jee start your studies!!!

For your kind information I would like to say that, the minimum eligibility for the JEE (JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION)examination is , you must posses 12th degree from a recognized college.
you know what, you would be eligible for this exam, if you have not failed in biology (theory),.
because, you have gained the 60% in PCM group,but you are fail in biology,.
after clearing of the biology, you can appear in this examination next years.

the age limit for this examination is 17-25,.
but there are only two consecutive years for attempting this exam are given to the candidates ,with passing of 12th.

So the eligibility criteria for IITJEE is that:-
1)the candidate should be within 25 years of age
2)the candidate should have secured at least 60% in class XII
3)the candidate cannot appear for more than 2 times
4)the candidate can appear for the exam either on the year of appearing class XII exam or the year just after it.

So if we calculate your marks(p-55,c-71,m-55) your percentage comes out to be 60.33% which means you are eligible provided you satisfy the other 3 criterias also.
